About Us

Tim Schultz Jr. grew up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, specifically Mt. Lebanon, and began his professional career in 2008 in the oil and gas industry. He built a successful land service company, which he remains a partner in today. In 2014, Tim shifted his focus to residential real estate, acquiring and renovating multi-unit properties throughout the South Hills that he and his wife continue to own and manage.

As he expanded into renovation work, Tim began leveraging his network of trusted suppliers and trades to manage both interior and exterior projects — laying the groundwork for Schultz Builders. After collaborating on multiple projects, Tim and Alejandro officially partnered in 2021 to create a company dedicated exclusively to outdoor living projects and landscape construction. Custom Landscapes was born from that shared vision.

Tim lives in Peters Township with his wife, Meagan, and their three children, Claire, Nathan, and Benjamin. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music, watching football, and gathering with friends.

Alejandro Bravo Coria’s journey reflects dedication, craftsmanship, and pride in his work. Born and raised in a small town outside of Morelia, Mexico, he came to Pittsburgh more than 20 years ago and began working for a well-established local landscaping company. Through consistent quality, strong work ethic, and attention to detail, he advanced from laborer to crew manager.

Alejandro approaches every project as if it were his own property, taking tremendous pride in both the process and the finished result. Seasonally, he resides in Peters Township with his wife, Veronika, and spends winters in Mexico, where he works on his family’s homes and his daughter’s dental office — a building he constructed himself.

He enjoys working (truly), watching soccer, and spending time with his family. His wife, children, and grandchildren remain his greatest source of pride.
